Adios!

I'm leaving to go on a cruise with the family tonight, so I'm sorry to say that there will be a pause with Loving Wings & Co.!  Feel free to take this time to e-mail me, lovingwingsco@gmail.com, with likes or dislikes from pasts posts so that I can improve upon the blog after my relaxing, sun-basking week.

Bon Voyage!

Packing Procrastination

Packing for the upcoming trip has turned into a daunting task!  I seem to wear jeans, A LOT, which is perfect for the everyday, but not ideal for a cruise!

So, I decided to procrastinate and make some changes to LW&C.  What do you think?

Urban Market Houston

This past weekend I enjoyed a day of Antique shopping at Urban Market Houston.  Basically, this is a much smaller version of the Round Top Festival, so I was very excited to get a preview for fall!  Here are some of the pieces that I fell in love with:

Starting Off...

Let's start off the week with a bit of fashion inspiration, shall we?

Ok, not much inspiration from the little boy, but isn't he adorable?

Labels

Have you ever looked at the size on an item of clothing in the story and immediately become a little awed by the artistic nature of a label?  Well, today I discovered the creative mind behind many of the brands sold at the always fabulous Anthropologie, Gray Hood by Dan Gneiding:

Dan also creates invitations...

...and posters.

Stop & Look

Job Shopping

Who said you can't have a little fun when you job hunt?  I am heading to Austin soon to continue my search and I'm dying to stop by Madewell 1937 when I arrive.  Madewell is the baby sister of J. Crew, so of course they have some amazing pieces:

Off to the Trenches

The search for the perfect Trench Coat: Classic & Affordable...a myth? {This is Glamorous} recently did a post about the history of the Trench Coat, which to my wallets dismay, made me want one even more.

The History...

The Simplicity...

The Glamour...

Here are a two options that I'm considering:

Ever the chic accessory, I will continue my search!
