The best part of my crazy life was getting to see my seester, Keely, last night! She was in town for a Compassion tour with Amy Grant. {El Shaddia has been stuck in my head ALL day.} She got to meet le boy and we caught up on her International/my Texas travels. Fingers crossed that I get to spend more time with her in RT this weekend!
Off to work on more of this and that...32 days until election day. Whew.

Lovely Jake & Claire

A few weekends ago, one of my sorority sisters got married. Sadly, I could not attend the wedding. Probably a good thing. If I had been there, I probably would have gawked, awed, drooled...none of these are a very pretty sight.

Thanks to her amazing photographer, Aaron Snow, who is quickly being added to my photography inspiration list, I can see every detail of their special day...and let me assure you, every detail is absolutely flawless and perfect.

Lovely Round Top Weekend

Apologies for my absence yesterday, the computer went to the Apple doctor. After a long surgery...aka hard drive replacement...we are trying to rebuild our lives. Sadly, I can't edit the pictures from K's wedding shower because I am down some software. Life will be back to normal soon, hopefully.

The good news is that I got to spend last weekend rooting for the

Fighting Texas Aggies and relaxing in Round Top. Perfection.

Lovely Dove Poppers

The other day I mentioned dove poppers. Delicious and delightful dove poppers. Here's the breakdown for how you make them...or have someone make them for you.

{Step 1: Go dove hunting. One dove makes 2 poppers.}

{Step 2: Slice a jalapeno in half and take out seeds.}

{Step 3: Fill hollow jalapeno with cream cheese.

Then sandwich with two pieces of dove.}

{Step 4: Roll dove sandwich in a piece of bacon and pin with a toothpick.}

{This is how the little lovely should look.}

{Step 5: Grill for about 10 min...or until bacon is done.}

{Step 6: Enjoy the view.}

{Step 7: Enjoy the delicious and delightful dove poppers.}

Lovely Emmadime

How sweet are these knitted accessories from Emmadime? They are the perfect addition to any winter wardrobe. A giant bow scarf and tiny bow headband need to find their way to Texas pronto...along with the cold weather.

Lovely September Weekend

Fall is almost here. The first weekend of september could not have been better. Time with friends and enjoying the great outdoors. I am officially looking forward to the cooler weather, big sweaters & scarves.
