Lovely Weeks Wedding

I officially dubbed last weekend a Wedding Extravaganza. Some of our very best friends got married and it was a giant party! Amazing, beautiful, simple and relaxed wedding extravaganza. Could not be happier for The Weeks.

Also this, I may have caught the bouquet...more like it hit me in the face...literally. I keep apologizing to mountain man profusely because he continues to get picked on. Note to all girls, never underestimate the brides throwing or aiming abilities.

Lovely Typographic Film

My friend Brad and I were chatting at lunch today about our ability to spot various fonts. Whenever I visit a new restaurant, I observe everything from the taste to typography. This little video tugs on my typographic heartstrings:

Lovely Sartorialist Inspiration

If you have never checked out The Sartorialist, he is a major source of photography & fashion inspiration.
I love discovering that he has no formal training. Allows me to take a sigh of relief and keep snapping.

Lovely Mamie

I know there were promises of photos & food this week, but Shopmamie is too good not to share. All items are under a $100 and categorized under the "I need" list of life. Don't believe me?

Lovely Spaghetti Squash with Garlic Sage

I'm a vegetarian. There I said it, this Texadelphia, Sesame Chicken, BBQ loving gal is a vegetarian...at least for the month of January. Without going into too much detail, my minor lifestyle hiatus can be boiled down to health. Imagine this as a detox for the mind & soul.
{Don't worry, meat will soon return to the Loving Wings recipe land}

After a long trip to the grocery store, I created my first veggie dish:
Spaghetti Squash with Garlic Sage...de-li-cious!

{Step 1: Buy yourself some spaghetti squash. Good rule: 1 squash feeds 4 people}

{Step 2: Chop the squash in half and remove guts & seeds.}

{Step 3: Place squash face down in a dish (or whatever is lying around the boyfriends apartment) and bake at 375 for 40 min. Add a tiny bit of water to the pan. After 40 min. flip to reverse side and place back in oven for 20 min.}

{Step 4: Sauté 1-2 tablespoons Olive Oil, 4 cloves of garlic & 1-2 tablespoons of butter in pan for a 3-5 minutes. Then add in a few sprigs of chopped sage.}

{Step 5: Remove squash from oven and fork through to create the "noodles". Add spaghetti squash to your pan of garlic sage sauce. Mix everything together, then plate.}

{Step 6: Sprinkle with fontina cheese, cayenne, salt, pepper & enjoy!}

Overall, I loved this dish. When researching the best way to bake spaghetti squash, there were a few different options. I chose to base my first experience off of a blog that never fails me, Jeremy & Kathleen. Can't wait to whip this up again!
