Lovely Day Hike

A few weeks ago Mountain Man and I decided to go on a day hike. One of the things I love about Austin is how close you are to a mini-getaway. Once inside the Greenbelt, the hum of the highway fades away and you escape from the craziness of the outside world. It's no colorado, but it does the trick.

This past weekend a few of us got together and celebrated italian style.

Friends, food, bubbles, laughter & lots of heart. What more can you ask for in a night?

Ran out of gas today going up a hill. Landy wasn't going to budge. Luckily, my wonderful friends came to the rescue {& documented the entire adventure}. Mountain Man, who's traveling on business, texted "literally speechless".

I think this was my car's way of acting out against me. Although Mountain Man might not agree, Landy likes him much more. The evidence might prove differently...sliced foot & eaten iPod {don't worry she gave it back}...but those are just minor details. Landy is acting out because it's time for her yearly registration date and I'm stalling. Holding out for valentines day.

Lovely J.O.B.

I don't bring up my "real" life job very often, but I have some exciting news! Since the conclusion of the campaign, I have been searching for a new J.O.B....and I found one! YAY!

I'm sticking with the world of Social Media and will be based out of my apartment. I start next week, which means lots of cleaning and organizing today so that I can get my humble abode {tiny work space} in tip top shape for the new adventure ahead!
